Photographs in the news and the archive
The photographs in the news, in the post archive and on the administration page come from El Montazah I District’s own posts and pages on montazaonline.com, and belong to the district. Each one appears with its post or page and a link to it. Photographs from posts that show children are not shown.
Landmarks with no photograph yet
We hold no photograph of these that we can publish here, so they appear as a line drawing made for this site rather than as an image that might misrepresent what you would find on the ground:
- East City Hospital
- Al Madina Al Munawara Hospital
The films: their pictures and sound
The district films and the landmark documentaries are cut from freely licensed and public-domain pictures, and the films themselves are shared under CC BY-SA 4.0. The documentaries’ maps are drawn from © OpenStreetMap contributors data (ODbL), with the qisms’ boundaries from Egypt’s statistics agency, CAPMAS, through OCHA’s HDX and geoBoundaries (CC BY 3.0 IGO).

The site uses two typefaces, both served from the site itself and both licensed under the SIL Open Font License, version 1.1.
