Settling building violations: Law 187 of 2023
Law 187 of 2023 governs the settlement of some building violations and the regularisation of their status. The district has received settlement applications since May 2024, after training its staff on the law and its executive regulations.
Three ways to apply
- At the technology citizen service centre in the district headquarters, Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 to 13:30.
- Through the “Tasaloh” (settlement) app on Google Play, which can request a statement for an earlier application or file a new one.
- On the Local Government Services portal (lgs.gov.eg).
Before you apply
The documents and fees are set by the law, its executive regulations and the governorate’s decisions; the district has put up posters listing them around its area. Confirm them at the technology centre before you apply.
