Walid Ali Morsi, head of the district, led a campaign to carry out removal orders on 7 unlicensed changes, in 5 buildings, in old El Maraghi behind Nassim School in the district’s rural hinterland, in the first phase of the 29th wave of removals of building violations. The removals took out whole upper floors, parts of floors and the walls of flats, in buildings of up to a ground floor and 7 upper floors.
The district asks residents to follow the building rules in full and not to start any building work without the required licence, to protect lives and property and avoid legal action.
