The child protection committee reviews 10 reports in April

The committee’s monthly meeting, chaired by the district head, reviewed the cases received and the work plan for May.

The district’s child protection committee held its monthly meeting, chaired by Walid Morsi, head of the district and of the committee, with the head of the governorate’s general unit, members of the sub-unit and the departments concerned. It reviewed the 10 reports the unit received and its activities in April, and discussed the right response to each case.

It also reviewed the proposed plan for May, which includes more psychological and social support and wider awareness of child protection and of how to report a child at risk.
