The district held a full medical convoy for the people of Darbala at the Kalagin El Gabal association, through the local development information centre, the public relations and media department and the Montazah medical area, with civil society groups and the population unit, under the “Together We Can” initiative.
It offered free examinations and medicine in internal medicine, paediatrics and family planning, antenatal care and obstetrics and gynaecology examinations, free family planning methods, and early screening for kidney disease, diabetes, blood pressure and cancer under the “100 Million Healthy Lives” initiative. Talks covered saving water, with the drinking water company, family planning and early cancer detection.
