The one-day market in El Fasha Square, in Sidi Bishr Tram, was held on Monday and Tuesday 6 and 7 July 2026 with the supply and internal trade directorate, under Walid Ali Morsi, head of the district. It had about 17 stalls of staples, groceries, fruit and vegetables, fresh and frozen meat, poultry, fish, spices and cleaning products, at more than 20% off.
A “100 Million Healthy Lives” team gave visitors free checks of blood pressure and sugar and early screening for some diseases and cancers, and people doing public service ran surveys of residents’ satisfaction and took their complaints and suggestions.
