Eng. Sahar Shaaban, then head of the district, visited the first day of the one-day market in El Fasha Square, at Sidi Bishr tram stop, held on 27, 28 and 29 October 2025 with the supply and internal trade directorate.
The market had about 25 food stalls and 12 stalls for home producers’ handmade goods, selling staples, fruit and vegetables, meat, fish, spices, cleaning products, dairy and clothes. Mobile service vans came from the Mostakbal Misr agency and the mobile Egyptian Post, the water company's van took complaints, and the “100 Million Healthy Lives” team gave visitors free medical checks.
