The district’s public relations and media department, with the Ahl El Tawfik charity, held a seminar titled “Shield of Safety: awareness is the first line of defence against harassment” for third-year students of the Higher Institute of Social Work and district staff, as the institute’s students began their training at the district.
The district’s secretary-general attended with Dr Hind El Gabaly, dean of the institute, Sheikh Dr Ahmed Rashad, director of the office of the endowments ministry’s undersecretary, and Safaa Tawfik, head of the association. The seminar covered what harassment is, its forms, prevention and how to handle such situations safely.
