A talk for mothers on “brain rot” and too much screen time

The child protection committee explains to mothers of pupils at Ali Ibn Abi Talib School how fast digital content affects children, and what to offer instead.

The district’s child protection sub-committee, with the El Montazah I education administration (social education section), held an interactive talk titled “Brain rot” for mothers of pupils at Ali Ibn Abi Talib School, given by the committee’s psychologist, with 20 mothers taking part.

It covered how too much fast digital content affects children’s cognitive abilities, the warning signs of screen overuse, such as poor attention, weak memory and social isolation, and practical activities away from devices.
