The district held a full medical convoy for the people of Ezbet El Zawayda on 3 February 2026, with the local development information centre, the public relations department and the Montazah medical area, and civil society groups.
Doctors covered internal medicine, paediatrics, family planning, antenatal care, kidney disease, diabetes and blood pressure and women’s health, with free medicine and free fitting of family planning methods, and the “100 Million Healthy Lives” campaign screened for kidney disease, diabetes, blood pressure and cancer.
There was a talk on saving water and the harm done by plastic bags, a talk in the mobile clinic on family planning methods by Dr Heba Moawad, the family planning medical supervisor, and an exhibition of products from the Montazah medical area’s women’s clubs.
