The district’s cleanliness monitoring department, with the veterinary directorate, ran a campaign on stray dogs after repeated complaints from residents.
It covered streets in the Darbala area: El Gezira El Khadra, Malak Hefny Qibli Street, Thabet Street in El Gezira El Khadra and Ben Salama Street. 20 dogs were vaccinated against rabies and 2 sterilised, and the district will keep running these campaigns with the authorities concerned.
