Eng. Sahar Shaaban, then head of the district, held the weekly public meeting at the district headquarters with the heads of the departments concerned. 30 residents came.
Their complaints were 14 for the engineering department and 7 on street occupancy, 2 each for shop licensing, advertising and unsafe buildings, and 1 each for building permits, revenue and building violation settlements. Decisions were taken on all of them.
The meeting is held every Wednesday at the district headquarters. The citizen service department takes complaints all week, records them and sends each to the department concerned before the meeting.
